Running 16 bit Application In Windows XP


1) Open Regedit (Start->Run->"Type regedit and press enter") and go to the following key. Select yes for executing 16bit application in Windows XP.

Key : HKLM \SYSTEM \CurrentControlSet \Control \WOW

Entry : DefaultSeparateVDM
System : NT, 2K
Type : REG_SZ
Range : yes or no
Default : no

yes : 16 bit applications are executed in separated memory areas
